Hooked on Seafood, Eden
Hooked on Seafood in Eden has its very own fishing boat, and offers fresh and cooked seafood and takeaway.
Grab some take away locally caught fish and chips or grab a selection of seafood to cook at home. There are few seating options near the shop but lots along the harbour front, or head to Eden lookout which has excellent picnic facilities.

Cranky Pants – Merimbula
The cafe is famous for wholesome in-house prepared meals incorporating gluten-free and vegetarian food. The family sources much of the ingredients from local producers and suppliers to make quality yet affordable meals.
Some of these include Goodalls Butchery (smoked bacon and smallgoods), Eden Beeline (local honey), Merimbula Fruit and Veg, Eden Mussels, and a network of local growers bringing in assorted fruit and vegetables.
Hours: 7.30am to 5pm, seven days.
Dinner: 6pm to 9pm, Friday to Sunday (inclusive) until after Easter, then on long weekends and during Jazz Festival (June).
Tathra Beach Tapas
Tathra Beach Tapas is right on the beach at Tathra with spectacular views of the coast – there is no other place quite like it!
The kitchen is open all day, lunch & dinner pivots around a tapas menu that changes regularly featuring fresh, seasonal, local produce. The specials board is also regularly changing so when they have “Fish of the Day”, you know it’s fresh.
Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, it’s known for welcoming service, great tapas and breakfasts, and is fully licensed.
The Tathra Hotel has been a welcoming meeting place for over 100 years. A unique headland location, a heritage listed, family-friendly hotel and fresh local, and Australian produce await you.
Menus change seasonally to reflect the local produce available. They believe it’s not only important to support our local farmers and producers but it is equally important to reduce the amount of food miles. The hotel’s menu includes gluten-free and vegetarian options and we have a separate menu for children.
They also support the Australian wine and beer industry by only stocking Australian products. Ten Australian beers and two ciders on tap as well as a variety of Australian white, red and sparkling wine. Did we mention the inhouse brewery? Blend @ Tathra is a popular meeting place serving homemade delights, locally produced spices and oils, fresh meats, cheeses and breads as well as quality home and kitchen ware.

Dulcie’s Cottage, Merimbula
Awarded Best Regional Bar at the Australian Bar Awards in 2017, Dulcies Cottage is loved for its burgers, oysters, cheese platters, live gigs and beverages.
Find it at the top end of Merimbula’s Market Street, just look for the little picket fence and the big Jacaranda Tree.
Dulcie’s doesn’t take bookings or reservations, and little people under 18 are welcome until 8pm.
Blue Wave Seafoods, Bermagui
The catch and harvest at Blue Wave seafood is all caught in local waters, predominately at Bermagui, and processed on the premises. The cafe has a front row seat to Bermagui wharf, so you can watch the catch being unloaded as you eat the freshest seafood around!
The cafe and seafood wholesaler is owned and operated by knowledgeable locals, who have as much salt in the blood as the fishermen do. Ask them about selecting, storing and even cooking your seafood.

Visit Wild Rye’s Baking Co in Pambula and Cann River for a delicious range of artisan breads, treats and locally roasted coffees. Breads are all hand made using traditional methods and the specialty sourdough range is made using Wild Rye’s 20 year old culture.

The Candelo General Store Cafe dates back to 1904 and retains many of its charming historical features.
Today it is owned by a local farming family, who have fitted it out with a licenced cafe, general store and stock feed and supplies. The Cafe is fully licensed and serves breakfast, lunch and morning & afternoon teas 7 days a week, with seasonal evenings and music events.
The kitchen proudly serves Wheatley Lane sourdough, which is created in Candelo, Bega Cheese, Wild Rye’s Roasting Co. coffee and other local, seasonal ingredients.

Camel Rock Brewery & Cafe provides guests and locals with a different dining experience in a historic building located within BIG4 Wallaga Lake Holiday Park.
Camel Rock Brewery & Cafe is housed within the historic Allowah House an original 1920’s guest house renovated into the brewery and cafe with renovations completed March 2017.
The menu is an American influenced menu with Burgers, Ribs, and Slow cooked and smoked meats. Salads, Subs and Cheese Platters not to mention some yummy deserts. Most importantly great on tap craft beers, commercial beers are available by the bottle, and a variety of wines and spirits.
