The Wallagoot Gap is just that, but it's stunning at high or low tide.
The Wallagoot Gap is a 50 metre beach, bordered by 30 metre cliffs which almost touch, leaving just a 10 metre gap between them.
The beach is very tidal so it’s best to time your visit for a high tide. Waves are generally low, but in times of high tides and large surge there can be dramatic fluctuations as the waves are trapped by the gap.
The gap is a 200metre walk from the car park, which has amenities and a picnic area. This beach is not patrolled.
