Tura Beach

Tura Beach’s epic headland is bordered by two long white beaches.

On the southern side, the beach extends all the way back to Merimbula’s Short Point. Tura Beach North extends to Bournda Island, in Bournda National Park, and continues onto Wallagoot Lake, approximately 5 kilometres. Access is via stairs, or steep tracks. Tura Beach is not patrolled, but there are some dog-friendly off leash areas.

There are many scenic shorts walks in this area, such as the Sandy Creek Loop Track (6km loop), Tura Beach Headland (1km), a beach walk to Short Point or Bournda Island.
