Nelleke’s Culinary Adventures with Fungi - Kalaru

South coast local legend and chef Nelleke Gorton of Nelleke's Culinary Adventures is embracing fungi for this umami-flavoured cooking lesson. Nelleke will demonstrate how to bake her delicious Mushroom Strudel using Swiss brown mushrooms with cultivated exotic oyster mushrooms. Nelleke is well-known for her cooking expertise and delicious buttery pastry.

Participants will enjoy this strudel for lunch, followed by sweet Reishi Chocolate Bliss Balls, recipe adapted from Nina Wenzel's Mushroom Mastery Cookbook. There will also be an appetiser of tasty Truffle Cheese, Tilba Dairy camembert infused with Gulaga Gold truffles.
