Yili-njili Cycle and Walkway

Yili-njili Cycle and Walkway is a 3.2 kilometre cycling and walking pathway from Tathra to Kalaru. It is a community pathway, designed to provide safe and enjoyable travel for cyclists and walkers.

Yili-njili means 'way' in Djiringanj language. The pathway is rich in history and significance for the Djiringanj people who have inhabited this area for thousands of years, and for farming communities that settled in the region in the mid 1800s.

Along the pathway you will find interpretive signage, telling stories of the region.

Keep a look out for wildlife as you travel and notice the various plant species dotted throughout the forest.

The path begins on Bega Street, near the Tathra Fire Station. It runs adjacent to Tathra Road until reaching Kalaru, opposite Evans Park.
