South East Centre for Contemporary Art
SECCA hosts touring exhibitions of national significance along with its own exclusively curated artistic program as part of its cultural tourism plan that is designed to engage tens of thousands of visitors to the region annually.
SECCA brings our community together, to build and share our identity, history, creativity and culture, through engagement with the arts. SECCA stimulates, develops and enhances the diverse visual culture of the region through viable, accessible, dynamic and relevant exhibition, education and collection programs.
SECCA is a service of Bega Valley Shire Council and is supported by the NSW Government through Create NSW.
Accessibility:
Actively welcomes people with access needs. Caters for people with sufficient mobility to climb a few steps but who would benefit from fixtures to aid balance. (This includes people using walking frames and mobility aids) Caters for people who use a wheelchair. Caters for people who are deaf or have hearing loss. Welcomes and assists people who have challenges with learning, communication, understanding and behaviour. (includes people with autism, intellectual disability, Down syndrome, acquired brain injury (ABI), dyslexia and dementia)
