Adventures await today with either;

Bilbaan Cultural Experience
Welcome to the Gateway to the Bundian Way, where our story begins. Connect to Country on a guided walk along a 3km trail, where ancient stories, ceremony, breathtaking landscapes, and Aboriginal culture come alive. The trail begins at Jigamy, home to the Keeping Place, and ends at the breathtaking geological feature, the Pinnacles. Traverse serene coastal bushlands that open to sweeping ocean vistas, guided by Country Custodians who share their deep connection to Country. Immerse yourself in the rich knowledge systems of the local Aboriginal community, learning about plants, cultural practices, and the timeless ways of knowing that have sustained this land for generations.

Navigate Expeditions

Embark on a memorable kayaking journey along the tranquil Pambula River, nestled near the charming towns of Eden and Merimbula. Join expert guides as they lead you on a scenic adventure, perfect for beginners and experienced paddlers alike. As you paddle through the crystal-clear waters, keep your eyes peeled for the diverse wildlife that calls this area home. The beauty of Beowa National Park provides a stunning backdrop for your kayaking experience. Take a break from paddling to stretch your legs or enjoy a refreshing cold winter plunge, and indulge in a delightful morning tea including local produce and hot coffee.

Spend the afternoon at your leisure exploring Eden Killer Whale Museum or soak up the winter sun on walks along the stunning coastline. Keep a keen eye on the horizon as the southern migration of humpback whales commences along our coastline. With thousands of whales stopping in for a rest on their journey south, we have plenty of lookouts and vantage points to choose from.

After your day out, enjoy an evening at your leisure.

Sunday

Sleep in or wake up for a golden sunrise, the choice is yours!

This morning the ocean calls and your welcome party of migrating humpback whales is just minutes from shore. Meet Sapphire Coastal Adventures at Eden Wharf and board their specialty whale watching boat, ready to encounter the incredible!

Cruise in comfort and learn how this once whaling port has become Australia's premier whale watching destination. Encounter whales in the wild, be amazed at their size and learn about how incredible these creatures are as they rest, feed and nurse their young on the migration back to Antarctica.

After a Wonderfully Wild winter weekend on the Sapphire Coast, grab a coffee for the road before heading home. We'll miss you!

*note Currajong Retreat is approximately 45 minutes drive from Eden.
