Contemporary Australian cuisine by Head Chef Wade Woolhouse, featuring a fusion of flavours and the freshest local seafood. Ever-changing specials as well as vegetarian and gluten free dishes that don’t compromise on flavour, make Wheeler’s a place for everyone.
Serving Wheeler’s own Merimbula Lake oysters, the farm to plate experience comes full circle within the architecture of reclaimed wharf timber, high ceilings and stunning coastal bush surrounds. Oyster Farm Tours are run before lunch Tuesday to Saturday, and on a sunny afternoon you can perch on a barstool in the al fresco Oyster Bar for a cocktail, some oysters and a view of the leases they came from.
An extensive hand-picked beverage menu features contemporary and classic cocktails made with liqueurs from the region’s distilleries and an extensive list of wines from award-winning Australian and international vineyards. The beer list caters for old habits while featuring locally brewed craft beer.
