It’s a tidal wonderland, sprinkled with landscapes to explore such as Bournda Island and the freshwater Bondi Lake in the middle of the beach. In the north there are walking tracks to Wallagoot Lake and it’s inlet, and Turingal Head and the hidden secret beach, ‘Wallagoot Gap’.
The beach itself faces east and is exposed, and unpatrolled, but you can swim safely in Wallagoot Lake if the surf is up.
