Pambula Beach

Pambula Beach is one of our most accessible beaches and is famous for its resident kangaroos, they are often seen on the beach and in the surrounding streets.

Pambula Beach Surf Club is nestled just behind the dunes and offers use of two beach wheelchairs during the summer patrol period, or by appointment in the cooler months. For little ones, The Same Wave program offers surf and beach activities that support people with special needs.

The sweeping sands of Pambula Beach provide a flat, firm surface at low tide, and just around the corner at Pambula River Mouth there are more accessible foreshore facilities.

For off-leash, dog-friendly beach head to nearby Lions Park and beach. It has a sheltered gas barbecue area, outdoor shower and viewing platform.
