Green Cape Lighthouse Tours

Climb to the top of Green Cape Light House with a keeper and take in the panoramic views of Australia’s second most eastern point.

Built in 1883, the lighthouse is Australia’s second tallest, and the first to be made with concrete cast. The light was replaced by solar tower in 1998, but is still lit on special anniversaries.

The light house and surrounding lands are a fantastic whale-watching spot in spring, and popular for picnics, rock fishing and spear fishing.

Tours run for 1.5 hours and  are available in summer and Easter school holidays or by appointment (subject to availability).

Cost $20 per adult, $15 per child or $60 per family (2 adults & 2 children).

Tours are free for guests staying at the keeper’s cottages.  Follow the link to check accommodation availability and rates for the Keeper’s Cottages or Telegraph Station Bunkhouse.
