Barmouth Beach

Barmouth Beach has lovely views across the Pambula River to Pambula Beach. There’s also a short walk you can take along the headland to Haycock Point, and Haycock Beach. Be sure to wear shoes and carry water, as it will take around an hour.

Barmouth Beach is a secluded picnic spot, ideal for swimming, and fishing for salmon and tailor and bream. Look to the skies for resident sea eagles, while on the shore you may see oystercatchers, goannas (or their tracks) and dolphins playing in the waves.

Take the Princes Highway 8km north of Eden, or 10km south of Pambula.

Turn onto Haycock Road, and follow it to for 6km to Barmouth Beach Access Road.

Barmouth Beach is a short walk (with stairs) from the carpark.
