Sapphire Coast was recently named Australia’s No. One for Whales by Australian Geographic.

Cobargo Creators

The  Sapphire Coast has a vibrant community of local artists producing extraordinary work, inspired by where we live.  The Cobargo Creators Centre is the home of the Cobargo Creators, a not for profit group established to make Cobargo and surrounds a better place through creativity.  Be sure to visit the Cobargo Creators Gallery set within this bustling village just north of Bega.  The gallery is open 7 days, showcasing beautiful, handmade works of art, and sharing ideas, knowledge, skills and enthusiasm with it’s members and visitors.  Other initiatives include a creative workshop programme, annual exhibition, annual 8xEight exhibition in August, regular Saturday marketplace and the much loved Light Up Cobargo annual festival in December.
