Spiral GallerySpiral Gallery Co-Operative is an artist run space that aims to promote and support contemporary and innovative art practice through its frequently changing exhibitions and gallery shop.

The gallery is a not-for-profit organisation, promoting established and emerging artists through an exhibition program which reflects a variety of media and styles.

As well as solo shows, the gallery hosts community group shows and exhibitions by the artists themselves.

Street Art Workshops for young people – January 2020

Spiral Gallery is presenting Street Art Workshops for young people in January 2020 with mural artist Bjarni Wark. This will be very exciting opportunity for young people to have a go at something different.  Bjarni is experienced at working with young people, encouraging them to develop their skills in a fun and relaxed environment.

Workshop 1 is on Thursday 16th January & Friday 17th January from 10am-4pm. Workshop 2 is on Saturday 18th January & Sunday 19th January from 10am-4pm. Maximum 12 participants for each workshop.  To be held at Oaklands, Pambula.

Keith Coleman, Cockatoo

Artesanato, Spiral Gallery’s artists and friends annual cash & carry exhibition in Gallery 1, begins on Friday 29 November at 10am in Gallery 1.

Artesanato features work by South Coast artists with paintings, clothing, textiles, ceramics, glassware, handcrafted wood and knives, prints, and jewellery. Lots of beautiful original art made by our local artists.

In Spiral Gallery 2, Valley Potters and Imlay Crafts exhibition, Clayground, celebrates Christmas with whimsical works and fun functional ceramics. Clayground runs to 24 December.

Artesanato runs to 15 January 2020.

Lissa de Sailles

After Christmas, Reimagined Reinvented begins on Friday 27 December in Gallery 2. Featuring fibre artist and basket maker Lissa de Sailles: her work explores recycled materials using traditional and contemporary basketry construction techniques. Lissa has studied internationally over the past five years. Continues to 15 January 2020
