Tura Beach Headland

Walk-in | Views north and south | Rock fishing

A scenic, level 1 kilometre walk delivers you to one of the most rugged headlands on the Sapphire Coast. Look out for the paths leading off the trail, they mean a spectacular view is just a few short steps away.

It is a great whale watching vista in late winter through Spring and there’s a little rockpool on the northern side. If you are taking children along, see our bushwalking tips here, and don’t forget the dog, this walk is pet friendly.

Directions

From Sapphire Coast Drive:  Turn onto Tura Beach Drive at Tura Beach. Turn left onto Pacific Way, right onto Golf Circuit and left onto Headland Drive. Look for the car park.

What to take

Water

Layered, weatherproof clothing as you will warm up on the walk, but the headland is exposed.

A snack
