The Pioneer Museum

Screen Shot 2014-04-16 at 2.08.21 pmThe Pioneer Museum, Bega’s first hotel, was built in 1859 and stands at the corner of Bega and Auckland Streets. It is home to the largest display of framed, early pioneer photographs in New South Wales and also includes memorabilia, tools and equipment.

 The museum is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10am to 4pm and Saturday’s 10am to 2pm.Entrance fees Adults ($5), Seniors and pensioner ($3) children under 12 are free.
