Green Cape Lighthouse Tours

Sapphire Green Cape

Climb to the top of Green Cape Light House with a keeper and take in the panoramic views of Australia’s second most eastern point.

Built in 1883, the lighthouse is Australia’s second tallest, and the first to be made with concrete cast. The light was replaced by solar tower in 1998, but is still lit on special anniversaries.

The light house and surrounding lands are a fantastic whale-watching spot in spring, and popular for picnics, rock fishing and spear fishing.

Tours are available in summer and Easter school holidays or by appointment. Tours are free for guests staying at the keeper’s cottages, see availability and rates for the Keeper’s Cottages or Telegraph Station Bunkhouse.

Cost $10 per adult, $25 family.
