The Merimbula Jazz Festival is an annual music festival held in Merimbula on the June Long Weekend every year.

The 2012 Merimbula Jazz Festival will mark the festival's 32nd event, and is planned to be bigger and better than ever!

The Merimbula Jazz Festival has been held every June long weekend since 1981 involving approximately 150 bands, 700 musicians playing all styles of jazz from trad, ragtime, big bands, swing, mainstream, modern and funk. In a nutshell, the Merimbula Jazz Festival is the "Festival for Musicians". Great Musos and their jazz music create the memorable festival environment each year. The format and organisation set down by the festival's founding Committee has worked well for over 30 years, so, as the old saying still goes "If it ain't broke don't fix it." As such, you have a festival which, at its roots, is all about community and having fun!

The festival includes a Street Parade, a Jazz Breakfast, Jazz Picnic Day plus performances by countless musicians across 4 days and 6 venues (with even more stages)! These venues are Twyford Hall (the "home" of the Merimbula Jazz Festival), The Lakeview Hotel, RSL Basement, RSL Auditorium, Merimbula Imlay Bowling Club and the Pambula Merimbula Golf Club
