2016 Migration: Watch whales from sea & shore

Whale watching charters sail from Eden and Merimbula and you can be among the pods within minutes of leaving port.

The number of whales to our waters have been increasing each year and the season is getting longer.  The best time of the year to see them is from  September to late November, when they are south bound for Antarctica with their young.

Shearwaters also undertake their migration at this time, and have the longest migration of any bird in the world. Other marine life include resident seals, dolphins and penguins.
