mountain biking in TathraSet your adrenaline racing with a ride through wild bushland, along cliff tops and down to pristine beaches. The Sapphire Coast has become a mecca for mountain biking with around 90 kilometres of expertly sculptured tracks through bushland, two parks to tests your riding skills and a growing number of annual events and casual weekend rides.

Much of the trails are sensitively constructed on in a virtually untouched environment. You are never far from creature comforts though, there are plenty of eateries and accommodation close by. Whether your adventuring is a family outing, or a weekend away with mates, there’s a trail to excite and challenge you on the Sapphire Coast.

We also respectfully acknowledge that parts of the Tathra Mountain Bike Trail uses the land of the traditional custodians, of Elders past and present of the Tadera-manji,  Djiringanj  people of the Yuin Nation

Mountain bike riding is a high risk activity and we advise riders to check conditions and register with land managers before heading out. Tracks may be temporarily closed or affected by weather events. Helmets approved to Australian standards are mandatory and protective gear such as gloves and cycling glasses are also recommended.
