Welcome to the Port of Eden
This is an open invitation and guide for the cruise industry with information, services, facilities and inviting tour options available from the Port of Eden, Sapphire Coast, New South Wales, Australia.
As the most southern declared Port in NSW, the Port of Eden services the length and breadth of the entire South Coast. Picturesque Twofold Bay is the worlds third deepest natural harbour quietly observed by majestic Mount Imlay in the background.
Visiting cruise ships, navy vessels and tall ships are all well accommodated by port facilities. The most significant trade in the port includes exports of woodchips, softwood logs and general cargo across the board.
As home to a substantial fishing fleet, oyster, mussel and abalone industries, the port has a wide capacity to supply cruise ship kitchens with fresh local cuisine in volume.
Its two modern berth facilities are ideally capable of handling all large cruise ships on the calendar. The Multi-Purpose wharf in east Boyd Bay can accommodate vessels up to 200 LOA and a draft of 10.5 metres. Larger vessels favour anchoring in a sheltered location, where a 5-minute tender ride will land passengers in the heart of town. A second berth at the breakwater wharf located within the vibrant fishing boat harbour of Snug Cove is available for smaller boutique cruise vessels up to 105 metre LOA and 4.0 metres draft.
This sheltered wharf is within walking distance of the Eden town centre with ample room for coaches and an accessible meet and greet programme.
An exciting itinerary of tour options is at your fingertips. From discovery tours of Indigenous culture, acclaimed whale-watching and marine adventures, to the connoisseurs' circuit of Bega Cheeses, select wineries and oyster seafood delights for all tastes.
