Customer Terms and Conditions

 

When you make a booking with us the following terms and conditions will apply:

1. Age: You must be at least 18 years of age to make a booking of any accommodation displayed on our site.


2. Payment:
You must make payment for accommodation booked on the site at the time of booking and you agree to make payment via a debit to your nominated credit card. The amount debited will (subject to the following) be the amount shown on our booking page prior to you clicking the "Book Now" button on that page. Your credit card provider may impose fees [including foreign exchange fees] in accordance with your arrangements with that credit card provider.


3. Changes to Bookings:
Whilst we provide a Free Booking Service, cancellations or amendments of Confirmed bookings (where payment has been made) will attract an Administration Fee of AUD$50.00 (inc. GST). Administration fee is in addition to the Cancellation Fee of the Service Provider/Operator. We reserve the right to offer alternative accommodation/tour of a similar standard in the case of the accommodation/tour operator overbooking their property or for any reason beyond our control.

If you want to change any details of your booking, you must contact the accommodation /business provider. Refurnd Policy:

Please note that:

- Certain room types or packages cannot be cancelled or changed, please view the operator's cancellation policy before paying for your booking.

- Some accommodation providers may permit cancellations or changes but this may involve that accommodation provider imposing a charge, please view the operator's cancellation/amendment policy before paying for your booking.

- If you fail to cancel a booking and do not check in to the property in accordence with the booking made, you will be charged for up to the full amount of the booking made.

4. Requirements upon Check-in:
We do not provide your credit card details to any accommodation provider/business and as such you will be required to provide a credit card imprint or equivalent at check-in to cover incidental charges.
The person registering at check-in must be at least 18 years of age.
In addition, to eliminate identity fraud, the accommodation provider will ask you to provide photo ID at check-in to ensure that your identity matches the booking identity. A record and/or copy of this photo ID may be retained by the accommodation provider to minimise the risk of fraudulent credit card usage and for verification purposes with your credit card provider in the event of disputation. This identification information may be supplied to us by the accommodation provider.


5. Site Information:
We reserve the right to change information displayed on our site (including these terms and conditions) at any time without notice to you. Whilst we make every effort to ensure all information displayed on our site is accurate; however, as considerable information is accessed from our accommodation partners, we are unable to guarantee the accuracy of all information nor are we able to guarantee that the site is free of errors or faults.


6. Liability:
Without affecting any of your statutory rights that cannot be lawfully excluded, we will not be liable for any losses, damages, liability, claims or expenses (whatsoever and irrespective of whether direct, indirect, consequential) arising from the use of or connected with our site or any products or services purchased on our site. We make no warranty or representation as to the fitness or suitability of any product or service displayed on our site. We sell accommodation from inventory supplied by each accommodation provider and we do not over-sell that inventory (we cannot accept liability for unavailability of rooms caused by an accommodation provider over-selling its own inventory).


7. Fairness:

8. Copyright: Images and content on the Sapphire Coast Tourism site may not be copied, saved or used in any format other than as incidental to your permitted use of the site.


9. General:
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales Australia. We receive payments from our accommodation suppliers for the provision of our booking service. All references to "we", "our" and "us" are references to Sapphire Coast Tourism Ltd. For information on how we deal with your personal information please refer to our privacy policy.
