Mimosa Rocks National Park.

Approximate duration: 4 hours
Introduction:

As part of a small group you will be treated to a very special nature tour of the Mimosa Rocks National Park. A visual and culinary feast of the best of the Sapphire Coast.

What you'll do: Mimosa Rocks National Park includes some of the most spectacular scenery along the south coast. Our first stop is Tathra where we’ll take in the fabulous coastal scenery over morning tea and visit the historic steamer wharf. We are now in the southern portion of the National Park and take a short walk to Wajurda Point, where the coastal views show the pristine coast you will be exploring. We’ll travel to Nelson Beach and Lagoon for a 1 KM walk looking at this most beautiful estuary and diverse coastal vegetation. We then head north to the appropriately named Picnic Point. This area is rich in ancient plant fossils that tell of life on earth long before dinosaurs roamed the planet. We will also be treated to a gourmet picnic highlighting local produce and wine, while taking in the beauty of the Sapphire Coast.
Refreshments: Morning Tea and Gourmet Picnic with local wines.
