Sapphire Coast Experience.

Approximate duration: 4 hours
Introduction:

Experience the best of the Sapphire Coast with a fully guided, luxury 4 wheel drive tour. Our journey of discovery takes us from Eden to Tathra with the option of returning via the hinterland and the Bega Valley.

What you'll do:

Basically sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery. Our first stop will be the Lookout at Eden, for a view of this beautiful port. Heading north you have the option of stopping for a bit of birdwatching at the Pambula wetlands. Ten minutes further on we’ll visit the picturesque town of Merimbula the heart of the Sapphire Coast. Surrounded by lakes and ocean the town is a wonderful mix of cosmopolitan cafes and secluded beaches.

Our next port of call is the stunning coastal town of Tathra. The headland views are stunning, looking up the coast to Nelson Inlet and Wadjurda Point. Tathra wharf is an old steamer wharf classified by the National Trust and is a focal point for fishing and sightseeing.

Also in Tathra is the first of our gallery stops Essential Items, and as the name suggests, something for everyone. Ten minutes drive through the magnificent spotted gum forest brings us to a beautifully restored historic church and home of Narek Gallery. On exhibition at the moment is work by internationally acclaimed glass artist Judi Elliott.
