| What You'll Do: |
Tour various locations in Biamanga National Park. This park is named after John Mumbler, or King Biamanga, the last Aboriginal King of Wallaga Lake. Its rugged terrain is a dramatic display of native vegetation and rock formations, with waterfalls running throughout. Begin by travelling through Tathra Beach, stopping at the internationally renowned Tathra Beach Pickle Factory and walk the beautiful expansive beaches and headlands of Tathra where you will have stunning views of the coast. Then onto Mumbulla Mountain from the coastal road, having a gourmet picnic at the Mumbulla Falls picnic grounds. While taking a short walk to the Falls, hear an explanation of the initiation rituals that once took place there, then drive to the Mountain peak to see 360 degree views of the Valley and Coastline. On the return trip we will travel through Bega on our return to the ship. |
