Cruising the Hinterland Forests, Rivers, Mountains and Lakes.

This half-day excursion begins with the hinterland Forests of Eden and the magical Nethercote Falls. Nethercote Falls Flora and Fauna Reserve, in the Nullica State Forest is a natural wonderland, with beautiful fresh water holes fed from the Yowaka River. Accessed with approx. a 1km easy to moderate return walk, this makes a perfect setting for a swim and picnic lunch.
From here we travel to Wolumla Peak through the spectacular South East Forests National Park. Wolumla Peak Lookout offers views of the entire coastline and mountain ranges of the region. Accessed by 4WD we travel through ‘some of the last remaining patches of old growth forest left in NSW’ .
Finally we return to Eden via Pambula Lake, where we enjoy the company of one of our local oyster farmers for an exclusive lakeside tasting. Complimented with a glass of wine from one of our local wineries. |
