| Introduction: | Enjoy a coastal trip through the Mimosa Rocks National Park to the beautiful fishing village of Bermagui, experience the unique story of the Montreal Goldfield and return by an inland route. |
| What You'll Do: | Tour between vistas of long golden beaches, green farmland and high blue peaks to the village of Bermagui, Zane Grey's camp and home of marlin fishing in Australia. Stroll through the village and see the setting for the film "The Man Who Sued God". A picnic lunch will be provided on the Bermagui headland looking across to Gulaga mountain as you watch for whales and dolphins in the bay. You then take a walk back in time with a guided tour through the unique Montreal Goldfield, wandering along boardwalks and paths beside mine shafts preserved for posterity, all amidst the beauty of tall forest and tree ferns. You may even be able to solve the Bermagui Mystery. You then return to the ship via the famous Bega Valley. |
