Approximate duration: 6.5 hours
What You'll Do:

Travel from Eden via the Eden Killer Whale Museum which is the main tourist attraction in the area and a short visit to the new Eden Art Gallery.

On to Tanja and Narek Galleries via Merimbula where an elegant C19 timber church with gothic entry door and windows provides the perfect pure space to exhibit the best in Australian contemporary craft. The artists working in ceramics, glass, wood, textiles and metal are represented in state, national and international Museum collections. Narek Galleries sits in an idyllic setting of glorious gardens surrounded by Australian bush that rings with the call of bellbirds. 15 minute viewing of historic church and exhibition.

10 minutes drive to Ivy Hill Farm nestled in the fertile Wapengo valley. During summer, the Ivy Hill Gallery has changing exhibitions by leading contemporary Australian artists, many of whom live or work in studios nearby. The house and gallery is surrounded by gardens with stunning views to Mumbulla Mountain
15 minute viewing of exhibition and gardens

15 minutes drive to Mimosa Wines where hand hewn pavers, dry stone walls and Spanish grapes on the hillside give a European flavour to a spectacular Australian setting. At Mimosa Wines the vineyards are managed and the wine is crafted with a low intervention philosophy. Varieties have been selected to keep in harmony with maritime conditions and biodynamic practices are used to enrich the soil and combat disease. Rare varieties and individual wine styles are available for tasting at the Mimosa Cellar Door.
20 minutes for viewing and tasting

10 minutes drive where the stop for lunch will be at Georgina’s Cucina, a relaxing dining room, overlooking Wapengo Lake and set in a native garden full of birds. Georgina produces fine food utilising produce from the region, including the succulent Wapengo oysters. Her style of cooking is light and innovative. A two course lunch will be served, plus coffee or tea. This is also the home of Wapengo Art Studio and Peter Storey, the artist, will gladly show you his works. Peter’s contemporary paintings are inspired by the colours and form of the Australian landscape.
