The catch and harvest at Blue Wave seafood is all caught in local waters, predominately at Bermagui, and processed on the premises. The cafe has a front row seat to Bermagui wharf, so you can watch the catch being unloaded as you eat the freshest seafood around!
The cafe and seafood wholesaler is owned and operated by knowledgeable locals, who have as much salt in the blood as the fishermen do. Ask them about selecting, storing and even cooking your seafood.

Cranky Pants – Merimbula
The cafe is famous for wholesome in-house prepared meals incorporating gluten-free and vegetarian food. The family sources much of the ingredients from local producers and suppliers to make quality yet affordable meals.
Some of these include Goodalls Butchery (smoked bacon and smallgoods), Eden Beeline (local honey), Merimbula Fruit and Veg, Eden Mussels, and a network of local growers bringing in assorted fruit and vegetables.
Hours: 7.30am to 5pm, seven days.
Dinner: 6pm to 9pm, Friday to Sunday (inclusive) until after Easter, then on long weekends and during Jazz Festival (June).
Fresh and value-added local and regional produce is the hero of this cafe. If you are in early in the morning you’ll see the growers bringing in their fresh harvest for sale and for use in the shop kitchen. There is a garden and courtyard, as well as seating inside and on Imlay Street.
The owners care deeply for sustainable practice, as well as their customers, staff and suppliers.
Sprout Eden is open 7 days for breakfast, lunch and afternoon treats with live music most Sunday afternoons.
Wild Rye’s Baking Co – Pambula
The huge range of artisan breads are all hand made using traditional methods with flour, salt & water.
The sourdough range is a specialty and is prepared using Wild Rye’s 20 year old culture.
The coffee is roasted in-house and you can even take it home.
Bermagui Country Club – Bermagui
Terrace Restaurant at Bermagui Country Club uses the best local seafoods, with oysters from Wapengo, Bermagui and Narooma and fish straight from the trawlers which berth right across the road. Our chef makes pasta from scratch and can cater for all dietary needs.

Club Sapphire – Merimbula
The Pacific Bistro at Club Sapphire Merimbula is open every day of the year for lunch and dinner with the exception of Christmas day. Reservations are not necessary for the Bistro, just simply come on in! If a table is not available at the time, the wait staff will be happy to take your name and page you as soon as a table becomes available. All children’s meals include a free single soft-serve ice-cream! Lunch is served from 12 noon to 2.00pm and dinner from 5.30pm until 8.30pm.

For casual contemporary alfresco dining at Club Sapphire Merimbula, a mouth-watering selection of cakes and gateaux and the best espresso coffee in town, why not visit the Rockpool Café?
