Tathra Hotel

A unique head land location, a heritage listed hotel and fresh local produce and seafood await you at Tathra Hotel.

Menus change seasonally to reflect the local produce available. We believe it’s not only important to support our local farmers and producers but it is equally important to reduce the amount of food miles. Our menu includes gluten-free and vegetarian options and we have a separate menu for children.

First opened in 1888, Tathra Hotel retains its charm while offering shore based whale watching from the deck and bistro during the late winter and spring and regular live entertainment.

Camel Rock Brewery, Big4 Wallaga Lake.

Camel Rock Brewery & Cafe provides guests and locals with a different dining experience in a historic building located within BIG4 Wallaga Lake Holiday Park.

Camel Rock Brewery & Cafe is housed within the historic Allowah House an original 1920’s guest house renovated into the brewery and cafe with renovations completed March 2017.

The menu is an American influenced menu with Burgers, Ribs, and Slow cooked and smoked meats. Salads, Subs and Cheese Platters not to mention some yummy deserts. Most importantly great on tap craft beers, commercial beers are available by the bottle, and a variety of wines and spirits.

The kitchen proudly serves Wheatley Lane sourdough, which is created in Candelo, Bega Cheese, Wild Rye’s Roasting Co. coffee and other local, seasonal ingredients.

Longstocking Brewery

Pair local Sydney Rock Oysters with locally crafted beers & ciders at Longstocking Nano Brewery.

All beers are crafted and brewed on site. You can enjoy a tasting paddle or simply select a beer from their great range of ales, lagers, ciders and ginger beer.

Beers, themed from the Roaring 20s, include Fatty Arbuckle (a dark ale) – brewed from complex dark roasted barley with hints of coffee, coupled with citrus undertones; Bonnie and Clyde (a pale ale) – lightly balanced with the grain/hop ratio not at all overpowering; or The Doctor – a German pilsener, lemon-gold in colour, with pleasant herbaceous tones in flavour with the addition of dry hopping in the lager stage.

Longstocking makes up to 50,000 litres a year and all of it on site.

The brewery is open from 11am to 6pm with extended hours on request. It’s also the perfect location for small functions and get-togethers.
